One of the many challenges that communities face is when people are looking for a place to live that is often referred to as “downsizing”. Their homes are too big and require far too much work in terms of routine up-keep. However, they do not want to move outside their community. So often, if there are units available they’re too small and do not offer the amenities and features they have grown to expect.
We were recently asked to photograph a rare townhouse style three bedroom unit located at Crown Pointe Properties at 406 Paradise Road Copenhagen Building Unit 3R. This captured our attention because it represented the features and amenities so many people we know have been struggling to find.
Prior to the photo shoot we refreshed our memory of the many features of the Crown Pointe has to offer that include: excellent location to shops, grocery stores, pharmacies, liquor stores, and of course the beach. In terms of interior features it includes indoor & outdoor pool, tennis court, function room, sauna, exercise room, and the new favorite - pickle ball.
We drove past the security guard and proceeded to follow the road to where we found the main entrance to the Copenhagen Building. One feature we thought was great was well positioned speed bumps. These bumps made you slow down to a very safe speed.
To gain access to the building we had to pick up the phone and dial 1 and the assigned number to the owners. The phone was picked up and we were buzzed in. Upon entering we took an elevator up to the third floor.
This unit is a townhouse of approximately 2,134 square feet. It includes 3 bedrooms all located on the second floor, of which one was currently being used as an office. There is an ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom, full bathroom in the hallway, and half bathroom off the kitchen.
It has an eat in kitchen with a work desk. There are stainless steel shinny appliances, beautiful cabinets, fresh looking countertop, and nice windows that invite natural light.
Off the kitchen there is the living/dining room combination. With lots of space for furniture. A special feature is a very cozy balcony off the dinning room. Great place to have the morning coffee or dinner. Better yet to take a relaxing nap.
We all know parking is always an issue. This unit comes with an extra wide parking space and storage unit right by the elevator. By the elevator are several grocery carts so you can easily get your groceries from your car to the unit.
Erica Petersiel, who is the real estate agent that is responsible for the listing, has once again done an excellent job of preparing the property for the real estate market. It was clear she had covered all the requirements with the owner as well as gone through the unit to eliminate unwanted items as well as making sure it was photo-ready. It is simply a pleasure to work with her as we know she is doing her best each and every time to put the property in the best position to be sold.
