Need for Speed

Ok, now we’ve entered into another world where people have the “Need for Speed”. Earlier this year we were exposed to Nascar Racing, but yesterday in Warwick, Rhode Island we found ourselves taking photographs of a Fountain 42 speed boat. For those of you that can remember, the television hit series Miami Vice is where most of us got a taste of these crazy fast boats.

We knew nothing about this style of boat nor had we ever been up-close and personal. We were told the Fountain Brand spoke volumes in this type of boat category. We simply could not imagine how fast this “BAD BOY” could go ….so we asked…”well over 80 mph”. Obviously, the next question is the amount of fuel it burns through at that speed. Our guess is when you want to own a speed boat like this the fuel consumption is all part of the total package.
