Lucille Wine Shop & Tasting Room - Commercial

Each and every time we happen to go to the movie theater, prior to the feature film, we have always watched a series of commercials. There is nothing much else to do, but watch them. It is always Interesting to see if there are businesses that we can identify because they’re all local. The quality of the commercials covers the full range. We imagined that many of the businesses struggle with trying to decide if they should dedicate their limited marketing resources to this type of platform .

We were introduced to Sarah Marshall, owner of Lucille Wine Shop & Tasting Room in Lynn, Ma. by Robin Samora. Sarah had opened up her shop and decided to take full advantage of the Express Grant Program offered by the Massachusetts Commonwealth. The concept is for the state to provide expert help to small and medium size businesses. Robin Samora, who is connected to the Express Grant Program, works with businesses by providing help in the area of marketing and public relations.

The Express Grant Program is the support that so many small to medium size businesses need. Every city and town depends on these businesses. They create jobs, generate tax revenue, but even more importantly, create the personality and spirit of their communities. The healthier the businesses make it a more inviting place to live and work.

The city of Lynn fully understands the importance of the success of small businesses. They embraced the opportunity to have Sarah open up her shop right in downtown Lynn. The Greater Lynn Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Team helped set the stage. They did far more than just use the slogan “shop locally” or suggest she become a member of the Chamber of Commerce. This is a true success story of how a young woman opened up her shop with the help of Mayor of Lynn and all the various governmental departments.

Now, it did not stop there. Setting the stage was not enough. Sarah needed help and guidance as to how to cost effectively marketing her business. This is where Robin Samora came in and worked side by side with Sarah to develop and define a marketing plan. The plan provided Sarah with the structure and focus she needed as she discovered running a small business had so many variables and distractions.

We decided to publish a 30 second commercial as seen in the video clip. It was our way of providing not just Lucille Wine Shop & Tasting Room, but all small businesses, a sample of a commercial that could used in a movie theater, website, social media platform. promotional pieces, etc. Another concept would be to create an even shorter version to be used as a “pre-roll” advertisement that you see before a YouTube clip. The ones that last often 5-10 seconds.

We included the current information regarding the various options for advertising at the Warwick Theater in Marblehead, Ma. Not sure what other theaters might be charging, but it would be worthy of looking into.

Happy to explore some options with your business as to how we might provide you with some cost effective marketing ideas that would be customized based on your budget and target audience. In the meantime, we can not encourage you enough to contact Robin Samora as it relates to the Express Grant Program.
