Roger Williams Park Zoo Pumpkin Festival

Roger Williams Park Zoo Pumpkin Festival

Last evening was a spectacular evening to share with my grandchildren. They invited me to share the experience of seeing the display of pumpkins at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. It was simply amazing to see thousands and thousands of pumpkins along with a host of halloween decorations throughout the zoo. I must give the entire Roger Williams Park Zoo Team a “high-five” for going above and beyond with the display.

In addition, the experience went smoothly right from the moment I pulled into the parking lot to leaving. Everyone was extremely inviting and made all of us feel welcome. This is a great example of making great use of the zoo to help generate revenue to provide a better living environment for all the animals.

They created a theme throughout the tour by displaying pumpkins designed for various decades of television. The pumpkins were designed to have characters from the hit television shows. To add another dimension, you listened to the theme songs of these shows. It was broken up into th 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, etc. What fun to be taken down memory lane trying to remember each of these shows.

As I have expressed dozens and dozens of times, it is always powerful to try and make and emotional connection with your target audience. By having the adventure being broken down in segments provided a wonderful example to target all age groups.

By all means, if you’re looking to have an exceptional experience with family and friends, I highly recommend the Roger Willams Park Zoo Pumpkin Adventure.
