USA Public Debt 1990 - 2023

USA Public Debt 1990 - 2023

Our elected officials have demonstrated a profound lack of responsibility since 1990. Our nation has amassed an unsustainable amount of debt, and the repercussions are felt across every sector of society. However, it's not merely the accumulation of debt that poses a significant problem, but rather the allocation of these funds.

For far too long, vital investments in our infrastructure have been neglected while an exorbitant amount of resources has been funneled into bolstering our armed forces and engaging in costly wars. This shortsighted prioritization has left our roads crumbling, bridges deteriorating, and public utilities in disrepair.

Now, we're all bearing the consequences of these misguided decisions. It's imperative to recognize that accountability transcends political affiliations. Both sides of the aisle share the responsibility for the current state of affairs.

As citizens, we must demand better stewardship of our resources and a renewed focus on investing in the foundational elements that sustain our communities. Only through responsible governance and prudent allocation of funds can we ensure a brighter future for generations to come.
