Drone Video of Anguilla

Drone Video Footage of the Island of Anguilla

Once again a member of the Generating Media Team, Phil Brown, tests his drone flying skills to the island of Anguilla. This video provides you with a “bird’s eye” view of this Caribbean island that is the most northernly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles, lying east of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and directly north of St. Martin.

It is about 16 miles long by 3 miles wide at the widest point.. It’s capital is The Valley. Total land area is 35 square miles with a population of around 16,000. Anguilla is very flat island of coral and limestone. This creates beautiful white sandy beaches. The average temperature is 80 degrees with tropical tradewinds from the northeast.

There is no public transportation on the island other than taxis. Cars drive on the left. Regular ferries run from St. Martin to Anguilla. It is about a 20 minute ride from Marigot, St. Martin to Blowing Point Anguilla. Service starts at 7:00 am. Airline service is also available from Miami and San Juan.

From our first hand trips to Anguilla, you will find some of the most beautiful white sand beaches. There is also an incredible 18 hole golf course. The people and the food are wonderful. Great destination if you simply want to remove yourself from the challenges of life and relax, read a book, nap on a beach, connect with family and friend, and put your life more in balance.
