General Media Platforms Need to Focus
General Media Platforms Have To Take a Hard Look at Their Responsibilties
It is understandable that we all may feel frustrated with the current state of media coverage surrounding political candidates. The media plays a crucial role in informing the public about the qualifications and capabilities of those running for office. It is important to have thorough and unbiased assessments of candidates.
Interviews, like the one above with Governor Palin, can provide valuable insights into a candidate's qualifications and readiness for office. Direct and challenging questions can help shed light on their knowledge, experience, and ability to handle the responsibilities of the position they are seeking.
Currently the debates are poorly run or lack in-depth questioning. In our opinion a total waste of time.
Ultimately, it is up to the voters to critically evaluate the information presented by the media and make informed decisions. It is important to seek out diverse sources of information and engage in thoughtful analysis to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the candidates and their qualifications.
Our suggestion includes that every candidate should be required to go through an exclusive “live” interview very similar to what Gov. Palin experienced. No questions given in advance and no editing their replies. It would certainly display their true colors and qualifications.
