Marblehead MA Homes Located on the Harbor

Selection of Homes Located on Marblehead Harbor

One activity that never fails to captivate us is exploring Marblehead Harbor, whether it be on a sailboat or power boat. While we have a preference for sailboats, we make the most of every opportunity to immerse ourselves in this experience, even though we no longer own a sailboat.

Interestingly, the state of the country’s financial situation, whether it’s a recession or high mortgage rates, doesn’t seem to have an impact on the properties situated along Marblehead Harbor. This holds true for both the Old Town and Marblehead Neck sides. Construction workers are always busy remodeling, building, painting, and tending to the incredible landscapes of these homes. Each residence competes for its own space and picturesque view of the harbor. Those fortunate enough even have the luxury of a private dock, eliminates the need to wait over twenty years for a mooring spot and worry about transportation to their boats.

As we stroll or drive through the streets of Old Town or Marblehead Neck, we are unable to catch a glimpse of what these waterfront homes look like. Over the course of our 60+ years of involvement in Marblehead, we have witnessed significant transformation of these properties. When these homes are put up for sale, it is the waterside of the property that holds the utmost importance, as that is what is being offered.

In our future tours around the harbor, we will continue to capture images of some of these properties we have yet to document. For those who do not have access to a boat, this provides a small taste of the highly taxed properties that contribute to the support of the Town of Marblehead.
