Beetle Cats - Leo J. Telesmanick

Edgewood Yacht Club is sponsoring the Leo J. Telesmanick Beetle Cat Championship from August 6-7, 2022

Our extended family has been has deep seeded roots with the Edgewood Yacht Club and Beetle Cat sailboats ever since the late 1920’s. It is wonderful to see the participation of so many people bringing back to life this little 12 foot boat.

It will be magical to witness the Beetle Cats covering the waters of Narraganset Bay with their colorful sails against the sky. Let’s hope the turnout brings the Beetle Cats from many of the yacht clubs. It should make for spectacular viewing.
