Marblehead Race Week was once again held between July 28-31, 2022. This special week was first started back in 1889 by Corinthian Yacht Club. It is the longest-running small-boat regatta in the United States. The number of sailboats and the types of classes represented has changed over the years. Interesting enough the classic wooden boats called International One Designs are still competing since 1939. The newest type of boat is the J/70.

The Corinthian Yacht club was founded on the mission to encourage the growth of small-boat sailing and racing, Today the Boston, Eastern, and Corinthian Yacht Clubs work in unison to make it an on-going event.
