Enhance Your Videos with Motion Graphics
At Generating Media, we believe in the power of motion graphics.
What are motion graphics? Would it be too simple to say they’re graphics that move? You’ve heard of a graphic designer, you’ve heard of a videographer. Motion graphics live somewhere in between and they’re going to add that extra engagement to your real estate videos, whether its a small property or a luxury villa.
At their basic level, motion graphics will give your viewer information that is relevant to what they’re viewing on screen. So during your real estate walkthrough video, perhaps you want to display the listing price, the square footage, or other overview details as the imagery changes from the exterior views to the interior views. Simple enough. Your viewer won’t have to go digging for the information they want to know and they won’t have to take their eyes off of our beautiful footage of your property.
But let’s go beyond that. Sometimes the problem with video just by its definition is that it’s flat. You’ve got a beautiful 3D space represented on a 2D screen. You’re not quite capturing the depth of the space you’re trying to sell. Good motion graphics can fix that.
See the video below. Here we have beautiful drone footage of Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica. It’s engaging for sure, but with the addition of the motion graphics and text we’ve been able to elevate it to something that will capture your viewer’s attention. By motion tracking the camera footage; playing with lighting, shadow, and a little obscuring; and placing the text just right - voila, your footage now has DEPTH! In a tricky little way, your viewer is now getting a sense that they’re IN a location. The text isn’t taking over - it’s enhancing. So your viewer is seeing our beautiful footage, learning about the property, and getting a little taste of what it’s like to be there all in a lovely harmony. When they invent smell-o-vision you can bet Generating Media will master the usage of that, too!
It’s also worth mentioning that while motion graphics are able to enhance beautiful footage, engage your prospective client that much more, you may also consider using them in combination with our drone work to incorporate things like blueprints or lot maps. It is important for us to note that we understand motion graphic overlays can in many cases not adhere to your real estate company’s branding.
