Lovell Lake in New Hampshire

We were fortunate enough to be guests at a couples summer house, rather compound, on beautiful Lovell Lake in New Hampshire. Hate to admit it, but if it was not for our association with the couple, we would have never known about this peaceful sanctuary. For over 60 years, we have travelled north on Route 16 to go skiing, hiking, and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, without even an ounce of thought or knowledge about Lovell Lake.

This particular visit the group was getting up early to get a couple of “sets” of water skiing in while the lake was reasonably flat. Luckily, we had our camera equipment with us, but we kept thinking how cool it would have been to include our drone to get some aerial shot as well as some up-close and personal footage. All the same, we got in the boat and let the action begin. Another piece of equipment we wished we had along was our gimbal that would have stabilized the camera.

We hope to be given a next time when we can bring all the equipment so we can publish a far more engaging and powerful video.

In the video clip below, we added some very basic special effects for fun that include: freeze frames, slow motion, and reverse. When it is in slow motion, we had to block out the sound for obvious reasons.
